15 January 1850 – Birth of Leonard Darwin, son of Charles Darwin

Leonard Darwin was identical to his father, Charles, in almost every way. Except that he had evolved chromatophores, which enabled him to rapidly change skin pigmentation in order to confuse and evade predators. He also had a nifty row of poisonous dorsal spines.
